For GNOME 3.34
GUADEC is the main and biggest event for GNOME fans, where all GNOME developers and contributors gather together to share their ideas and plan the features of the next major release of the GNOME desktop environment, which is used in numerous Linux-based operating systems, including the popular Ubuntu. GUADEC 2019 will be the event for GNOME 3.34 desktop environment.
Therefore, the GNOME 3.34 desktop environment will be dubbed "Thessaloniki" after the host city of the GUADEC 2019 event.
